Start the Server
Run Notebook Studio locally
You should now have Convex running in one terminal (npx convex dev). Start the Next.js app in another:
pnpm devOpen http://localhost:3000. The app is ready!
The default locale (English) lives at /en. Other locales are at /de,
/es, /fr, and /it. Notebook Studio always prefixes routes with the
locale.
What to Check
Landing Page
The marketing site renders with the header, pricing, and FAQ. The Documentation link in the header and footer points here.
Admin Panel
Visit /en/admin/login, initialize, and sign in as the admin. You should see real stats and the management pages.
Create a Notebook
Sign in as a normal user, create a notebook, add a source, and chat with the AI tutor. Generate a study tool from the Studio panel. New accounts pass through the short onboarding wizard first.
Blog and RSS
Signed in as the admin, open Blog and click Import sample posts, then visit /en/blog. The posts also appear in the homepage section and in /feed.xml.
Stop the Servers
Press Ctrl+C in both terminals, or run pkill -f "next dev" and pkill -f "convex" to stop them.
